This page lists all of the offsets related to the seeds in a chao garden.

A value representing the specific type of the seed. See the Seed enum for more information.
Note when this seed slot is empty, the second byte will have a value of 0xFF.
Chao garden

A value representing the chao garden tseed the seed currently resides in. See the SADXChaoGarden enum or SA2BChaoGarden enum (depending on the game) for more information.
